Letter To The Editor POLICY:
A few simple rules about letters to the editor.
1. Letters to the editor attacking or condemning individuals will not be published. We feel a better way to address those issues is a face-to-face meeting.
2. Form letters sent to newspapers across the state will go directly into the trash.
3. Letters written by subscribers will generally be considered if they don’t endorse (candidate) or condemn an individual. All letters are edited for grammar and spelling, but the message the writer is trying to express will not be changed. We also reserve the right to edit for good taste and excessive length.
4. Unsigned letters will not be published. If you feel strongly enough about an issue please remember to include your name.
5. Editor has the final say if a letter will be published or not.
