BIO Girls To Start In Napoleon
BIO Girls, the transformative program dedicated to improving mental health and empowering girls, is launching in Napoleon Monday, March 2. This 12-session program equips girls in grades 2-6 to become more confident, kind, and resilient.
Napoleon BIO Girls Volunteer Program Leader Olivia Weigel said she first learned about Bio Girls while attending college in Fargo; “I was fortunate to serve as a mentor and experience the program firsthand. When I saw the posting for the leader role, it was an easy decision to step forward and help launch the Napoleon site. The life lessons and skills the girls gain through Bio Girls are invaluable — experiences I truly believe every young person deserves.”
Through a unique blend of character-building lessons featuring faith-based devotions, small-group mentoring with positive role models, and non-competitive physical activity, BIO Girls tackles the mental health crisis facing young girls today.
