Miller Receives Quilt of Valor
Missouri River Quilts of Valor awarded United Staes Army veteran Jon Miller of Napoleon with a Quilt of Valor last week. Jon was wrapped in a Quilt of Valor, where he is accompanied by his wife Courtney, son Jacob and his father Bill Miller.
Jon served from 2003 to 2011 in the United States Army and the North Dakota Army National Guard with his primary base in Bismarck. During that time, in 2006 to 2007, he was deployed and served in Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan, and from 2010 to 2011 he was deployed and served in Operation Iraqi Freedom in Iraq.
