Santa Day Another Hit
The annual Santa Day event which was held on Sat., Dec. 13 was another hit. Over 200 kids up to age 11 registered for prizes and visited with Santa (Chuck Wald) and his elves, Autumn Moch, Avery Moch, Emery Haas on the day.
Chairperson of the event, Helen Braun, had organized and lined up volunteer workers to offer youngsters the opportunity to play carnival like games in the school gym prior to and during Santa’s appearance. There was also a time slot for youngsters to listen to a story-time in the library. In addition, there was also goodie bags for each child registering for a prize and all kids received a major prize at the conclusion of Santa’s visit. Adults also had the opportunity to stroll through the Holiday Show Case vendor show in the school multi-purpose room.
