4 Matmen Place In Central Cass
The Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter boys’ wrestling team of 9 wrestlers were part of the 26-team Central Cass Lettermen’s tournament on Fri. & Sat., Jan. 10 & 11.
The Imperials came away with a pair of runner-up placers, seniors Dalton Feist (121) and Mason Weigel (160) as well as two other wrestlers, Brooks Grunefelder (133) 4th and Westen Baumgartner (127) 6th place. Both Feist and Weigel lost in the finals. For Feist this was his first set back of the year and for Weigel he suffered his second loss of the season.
NGS head coach Kriss McCleary had five other wrestlers competing but who did not place included: Beau Grunefelder (114), Easten Baumgartner (114), Bryce Schneider (145), Logan Feist (152) and Andre Doll (215).
