Imperials Are Back On The Golf Course

The boys are back on the links, as the Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter boys’ golf season is well underway. Head Coach Kelly McCleary said there are 13 boys from Napoleon and seven from Gackle-Streeter. Last year the team qualified for the state tournament, with goals set high again this year. “Our varsity would like to compete for a region championship and try and make it back to the state tournament,” added McCleary.
So far, the weather has cooperated said McCleary, and the team has been able to go outside most days. “It makes it very difficult trying to practice indoors, especially with as many kids as we have.”
