The Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter boys and girls track teams, both varsity and middle school, were part of the Linton Lions Club Invitational meet held last Tues., April 21 in Linton.

Eighth grader Deziray Zenker was the first Imperial to state qualify on the young season. Zenker ran the 400 meters in a time state qualifying time of 1:01.65 for a second-place finish in the meet. State qualifying time is 1:01.74 or better. Zenker also placed first in the 100 meters with a 13.26 time and in the 200 with a time of 26.88, just missing state qualifying time of 26.85 in that event.
