Imperials Can’t Keep Up With Loboes
The Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter boys’ basketball team traveled to LaMoure last Mon., Feb. 5 to face the LaMoure/LM Loboes.
The Loboes took charge on their home court as the Imperials lost 32-65.
Imperial NGS head coach Logan Klitzke and his squad got off to a very slow start as they only managed one field goal and a couple of free tosses to round out the first quarter scoring, with the Imperials trailing 4-18.
The second quarter was even a stronger quarter for the Loboes as they scored two dozen points and allowed the Imperials 7, as NGS trailed 11-42 at intermission.
After the break the third quarter proved to be a more balanced quarter with the Imperials netting 9 while giving up a dozen, as NGS found themselves trailing 20-54 with eight minutes remaining.
