Imperials Fall In 4

The Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter girls’ volleyball team played host to District 2 foe, the South Border Mustangs on Thurs., Oct. 2. It was the last regular season home stand for NGS as they celebrated Pink Night, sporting pink uniforms in recognition of October being Breast Cancer Awareness month.

The Mustangs won the first two matches 19-25 and 17-25 before the Imperials picked up a third set win 25-22 before the Imperials dropped the fourth, 15-25.

Leading the Imperial attack on the night was a pair of freshmen as Brooklyn Schneider handed out two dozen assists and Dawson Erbele led the team with 9 kills. Senior Elise Kristiansen pulled up 33 digs while junior Aliyah Schwartzenberger had a pair of. . .
