Imperials Win In 5

It took five sets for the Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter Imperial volleyball team, but they came away with a 3-2 win in Wilton last Tues., Sept. 8.
The Imperials won the second, fourth and fifth sets by scores of 25-21, 25-15 and 15-8. The first set NGS lost 20-25 and the third set they lost 16-25.
Leading the Imperial charge on the night were a trio of hitters, sophomore Dawson Erbele who had a dozen kills and 8 ace serves. Junior Isabelle Kristiansen and Hope Gross both reached double figures with 10 kills each and Kristiansen recorded a team high 5 blocks at the net. Senior Aliyah Schwartzenberger led the in digs as she pulled up 27.
