Imperials Win On Parents’ Night
It was parents’ night for the Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter girls’ basketball team. Participants of the Imperial girls’ basketball team and their parents were recognized. On the court the Imperials didn’t disappoint in front of their home-town crowd as they picked up a 42-30 win over the Ellendale Cardinals.
NGS head coach Paul Erbele and his squad jumped out to an early 8-1 lead about midway through the first quarter and never looked back. A pair of freshmen led the Imperials in the first stanza as Hope Gross had 7 of her team high 16 points in this frame and Dawson Erbele had 6 of her 9 points in this frame. The first quarter closed with the Imperials leading 17-7.
