Kid Charlie Opens In Napoleon

“Since I was little, I’ve wanted to own a store; now, that’s coming to life,” said new Napoleon Main Avenue business owner, Tianne Johnson. The new business, called Kid Charlie will feature, “all things kid,” she added.
Kid Charlie is located at 317 West Main Avenue, in between Del’s Market and the Fresh Start Daycare building. The last business to occupy the building was Knights of Columbus for office space.
Johnson said the grand opening of the store front is this Saturday, May 11 from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. “It’s been coming together good; I love how the community is excited for it to open,” she said of the feedback she’s received. With help from her husband, Owen and other family members, she said they worked together a lot of late nights; painting, styling and planning. “I love that it was a blank slate and now it looks like a store; it all fell together,” she said with a smile on her face.
Johnson said the store will feature kids’ clothing, toys and gifts, but will also sport items from her other business, 1377 Threads (sewn/homemade goods), along with customizable trucker hats and customized graphic items/clothing. “It’s really going to be trial and error to figure out what products and styles people want,” she noted.
