Imperials Place Second At South Border Invite

The Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter Imperial girls’ golf team opened their season four short days after the first practice. The Imperials traveled to Ashley last Fri., Aug. 7 as part of the South Border Invite. There were five teams of at least four girls or more on a team and a total of 33 lady varsity golfers from 9 schools.
NGS head coach Terry Schwartzenberger and squad of six varsity golfers had 3 finish in the top ten. “For the first meet of the year I’m proud of how the girls played,” said coach Schwartzenberger. “I think we learned from some of our mistakes and we will continue to improve as the season goes on.”
